A book I'm excited to release this Spring...

Beyond the Binary

I'll be sending out ARCs around the end of the week. Any recommendations beyond the usual (PW, Booklist, Library Journal)?

No suggestions, just dropped by to say that's a really grabby cover. Nice.

Daulton thinks it should have been his face on the cover.

I'm assuming Daulton thinks that about most covers.

When I read to him at night, I replace slipcovers with a faux cover with his pic on it. And I replace all the handsome hero names with Daulton.

Just sent you a list of the people I send review copies to. But I need to edit it so I don't know if it will do you any good. Goodreads also has a program for giving away books for reviews to interested parties.

Can't wait to read this book!

How about LibraryThing? Strange Horizons?
You could put one in the Con or Bust auction. http://con-or-bust.livejournal.com/

I'm thrilled to have a story in this one!

You should try to do something for this at Wiscon . . . maybe some giveaways? Postcards, at least? If enough of the book's authors are there, maybe a reading?

When Brit posted the ToC, there were a lot of interesting Comments & responses from her. Link to that?

Lethe treated [info]britmandelo to a free trip to WisCon, so she will be there being Supreme Cute Editor and organizing things.

How very wise of Lethe Press! We'll be there, too. Should be good.

Here's Brit's original announcement of ToC w/stimulating comments:

I Facebooked this, too, and there are some suggestions on my page for places to send it....

This sounds like a great idea. I had wanted to do some sort of event, and that could be an awesome one, if enough folks are coming!

Brit, have you been to the Wiscon website? They are collecting Ideas For Panels for the next week or so, I think. Readings can be tough - everyone there wants to read, and they do put us in clusters, but not everyone in the antho who's there might want to give up their slot to this antho (or maybe they'd love to! hard to say) - but Wiscon's great about giving out party rooms if you're willing to organize one - can be an afternoon tea if you don't want to go the whole Party Route - and a reading could be part of that event.

Do you know "Miep"? She's a great Wiscon party organizer!

Having now read how the rules work for assigning readings, this would work better, I think. I'll have to email the con about a potential party room and send some emails to see who's attending, who'd be interested, and all that.

Do you know "Miep"?

I'm afraid not.

Just wrote you via e-mail - but, yes, do try to come up quickly with a couple of Panels on GenderQueerness. They don't have to have antho authors in them, but of course that would be cool.
