Oh well...

Since me last short story collection, Second Thoughts was a huge flop, I decided to drop the price down to 99 cents on Smashwords and Kindle. If you find a grimy dollar on the street and there's no bums lurking around, please consider buying a pdf/epub/whatever...

On Smashwords

On Kindle (still showing the old price, but it should drop by tomorrow)

I just bought a copy, as well as a couple other Lethe titles. Also, you can never again accuse me of being self-deprecating. EVER. :P

Also, "zodiac sigh" is the perfect typo for you.

Personally I buy more copies of Kindle products at $2.99 than $3.99. I don't usually think twice about buying at $2.99 for some reason. But heres to hoping you get at least 8 times as many sales at the $0.99 price.

Was it a flop on the print side as well? Or just the ebook version?

Alas... both. My first collection, which has a more lurid cover, outsells Second Thoughts.

My most expensive e-book, at $9.99 is my best selling one on Kindle.

My $0.99 cent one is selling the LEAST.

Jut food for thought.

Thanks for the input.

My bestselling e-book titles are Vintage at 3.99 and an assortment of lesbian books around the 6.99 price.

I put my first collection, Trysts, at 99 cents in Feb and it sold only a couple, but this March is up to 10 copies, which is more than many books priced at 9.99. Of course, the profit margins between such prices are vastly different. But it was not selling at 2.99.

Thanks :)

If you bought it from an independent bookseller, that would make everyone happy.

Am I going to have to start sending non-perishable items to the Lethe Press address?

(It can't end well. Daulton will surely disapprove of my canine stink.)

Also, I used a very clean dollar. ;)
